- Growing up in Trinidad next a large oil refinery meant that shadows and industry were part of my world. Living in Northern Europe later emphasized the role of electric power and light in daily life. Seven years as a production potter gave me experience of small scale manufacturing and the commercial world... but looking for more creative opportunity, I then obtained a BFA and MFA, finishing up in 2000. As a fine artist my interest in industry is more exploratory and abstract and this has led to my current research.
